Today I would like to tell you about three must-see breweries in Gdańsk.
Brovarnia – Brovarnia restaurant is located on the bank of Motława river, in Hotel Gdańsk.
Here, beers are brewed under the so-called “purity law” of four ingredients: water, malt, hops, and yeast.
I especially recommend the Smoked March beer, which is very popular amongst the guests. It is an amber-coloured beer. A clear smoked aroma is balanced with malty notes. Its bitterness is delicate – it highlights its smoky character. It is definitely worth a try.

And with the beer, I recommend a dish inspired by old Polish cuisine: a traditional Gdańsk duck.

Browar Piwna – here they really focus on the process of making the best beer. Their motto is: Polish products, Polish suppliers, and Polish hops. They only serve self-made, fresh, unfiltered, unpasteurised, poured straight from the tanks.
And with the beer, I recommend a traditional Polish dish Big Kaszub (a big pork chop).

The PG4 Brewery is a place where you can “feast” in the company of beer and great traditional dishes.
Be sure to try: Starogdańskie beer with an intense hops aftertaste.
Every Monday, you can talk to a brew master about the process of brewing.

Buy a good beer and visit Gdańsk :)
